Hygiene. Health. Dignity.
What We Do
The Personal Care Foundation is committed to improving the health and well-being of survivors of domestic violence, their children, and others in need by providing essential hygiene items—basic necessities often excluded from government assistance programs. For example, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as food stamps, and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) benefits do not cover the cost of purchasing diapers, period supplies, or other personal care products like deodorant.
Access to hygiene items is vital for maintaining health, preventing illness, and building self-esteem, especially when women and their children feel threatened. By addressing this critical gap, we empower individuals to rebuild their lives, pursue education or employment, and regain confidence, fostering a healthier, stronger community for all.
Hygiene
We believe that access to basic hygiene is a fundamental right, not a luxury. By providing hygiene essentials to those in need, we aim to restore confidence, promote dignity, and support healthier lives.
Health
Good hygiene is the foundation of good health. Our Care Packages not only offer practical tools for cleanliness but also support physical and mental well-being, creating a pathway to a healthier future for individuals and families.
Dignity
We believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Through thoughtful care and compassionate support, we aim to restore a sense of self-worth and hope for a brighter future.
Together, Hygiene, Health, and Dignity
form the core of our efforts to empower and transform lives.
